Move Mistakes You Might be Making
When it comes to working out, are you doing it correctly? We asked our in-house fitness fanatic, Body Attack instructor and Barre Babe, Phoebe Parsons how to lunge, squat and plank correctly.
Here’s what she said…
The Lunge
Correct technique:
– Neutral spine
– Shoulders, hips and knees all facing forward
– Abs tight, core on
– Front knee over your shoe and
The Squat
Correct technique:
– Feet hip width apart, knees over toes
– Shoulders stacked over knees
– Weight in the heels
– Neutral spine
The Plank
Correct technique:
– Elbows are positioned directly underneath your shoulders
– Spine is lengthened and elongated
– Draw your head away from your shoulders
– Back is flat and core is activated
– Feet are hip width apart
