Meet Belmont’s latest More Than a Number, Brodie!
Part time work.
Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
No, not until this year because of my disability.
What brought you to Planet Fitness?
An experienced friend offered to train me, I enjoyed it and wanted to catch up to him.
Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
To live healthier and catch up to my friend Nathan.
Have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
I’m still steadily on my path, and I’m improving slowly everyday.
What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I thought the gym was just lifting weights. I quickly learnt moving the weight and the size of it didn’t mean much if you don’t have good form, diet, and sleep.
What are your fitness goals for the future?
To keep improving my life and body.
Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
My disability, I’m missing the fibula bone in both legs. My legs have always been a worry, however the gym has been really good for them.
Do you have sources of inspiration? If so what are they?
Arnold of course! My friend that I’m working to beat – Nathan Tuntevski. Also Jay Cutler and Kai Greene.
What is your weekly fitness regime?
Mondays – shoulders and abs. Tuesdays – arms. Wednesdays – legs and abs. Thursdays – chest. Friday – back and abs.
