Status
Part time support employment disability workshop and athlete.

Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
I started my fitness journey in 2013, struggling to complete physical activities. However with the help of my physio, PT, and podiatrist I am now able to move more confidently and comfortably, I’ve even been able to compete in the special Olympics.

Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
When I started at Planet Fitness I had no major goals or ideas of how much I was capable of achieving.

What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I feel happy to be a part of the Planet Fitness community, it’s friend staff and safe environment keep me coming back.

What are your fitness goals for the future?
I would like to improve more in my sports (swimming, bocce, and athletics) with the special Olympics.

Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
Being able to move, overcoming my physical disabilities as each day goes on.

Do you have sources of inspiration? If so what are they?
Training like a true athlete.

What advice do you have for those who are thinking of joining Planet Fitness?
It’s a nice and happy environment.

What is your weekly fitness regime?
I train once a week with my PT Dan who I’ve been with for over 2 years.
