Status
Student.

Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
I started ice hockey when I was 6 years old, but only started in the gym a year ago.

Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
My goal was to increase my fitness, stamina and core strength.

Have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
I have only been working out for a year, but in this time it has helped me achieve a position in the Australian U18’s Women’s ice hockey team and also in the AWIHL with the Sydney Sirens team. I have also made the NSW state team.

What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I thought gyms were hard, scary, and not worth my time. Once I joined Planet Fitness and actually gave it a go, I found it fun and not scary.

What are your fitness goals for the future?
To continue being part of the Australia U18’s team and in the future make the national women’s team. I would love to gain a scholarship overseas.

Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was motivating myself to actually get changed into clothes to go to the gym.

Do you have sources if inspiration? If so, what are they?
My inspiration is knowing I can be better, I just have to put my time and effort in to being a better person.

What is your weekly fitness regime?
Monday – gym
Tuesday – women’s training
Wednesday – bantam training
Thursday – midgets training
Friday – rest
Saturday & Sunday – ice hockey games
