Meet Casula’s latest More Than a Number, Danielle!

Status
Full time mum & casual PDHPE teacher.

Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
Yes, I started to play team sports at the age of 4 and continued to be involved in fitness and exercise after the age of 21 when I stopped team sports.

Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
My goal was to continue with regular exercise and to challenge my fitness levels.

Have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
Yes, definitely have achieved this.

What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I always believed that gyms/health clubs are a number one to join and attend to help with not only your fitness but health as well. After joining Planet Fitness it makes it more enjoyable to attend with great staff, positive environment and friendly members who I have built a relationship with.

What are your fitness goals for the future?
In future I hope that I am able to continue with exercise daily to challenge myself on my fitness levels. I hope to be able to still attend the gym at 80.

Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
Luckily enough I haven’t had to face major obstacles like some. While pregnant I attended Planet Fitness to the day I gave birth. After my pregnancy it was hard to get back into it with time and kids but it didn’t stop me!

Do you have sources of inspiration? If so what are they?
YOU are the main source of inspiration. You must believe in yourself and know that you can do it!

What advice do you have for those who are thinking of joining Planet Fitness?
Join! Exercise is the cure to everything I say. The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen. So what’s to think about? The staff, members, equipment and price makes it even easier for you to join.

What is your weekly fitness regime?
Fitness is my time for mind and body. I train 6 days a week for approx 1 hour and 30 minutes ranging from cardio to resistance weights.

Favourite quote?
“ It always seems impossible until it is done.”
“ Don’t find time to exercise, MAKE the time to exercise.”
