Year 12 student.

Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
No, I only started my fitness journey around 15 years old when I started cheerleading and it’s grown on me since then.

Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
To lose weight and live an overall fit and healthy life surrounded by good supportive people.

Have you reached your goal or achieved what you set out to do?
Yes, I’m currently living an overall healthy life, maintaining my fitness and wellbeing.

What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I never realised how social a gym could be and how you can meet and connect with people who have the same outlook on life as you, wanting to stay fit and healthy.

What are your fitness goals for the future?
Maintaining a healthy weight as I have struggled in the past being both over weight and under weight.

Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
About a year ago I changed my diet to veganism. It took a long time to be able to find the right approach to this but it is the best choice I’ve ever made.

Do you have sources of inspiration? If so what are they?
Once I joined cheerleading and was a part of a group who all loved fitness.

What advice do you have for those who are thinking of joining Planet Fitness?
Definitely the best gym around! The atmosphere is amazing and everyone you meet is so kind and inspiring.

What is your weekly fitness regime?
I train 6 days a week, each day dedicated to a specific muscle group.

Favourite quote?
“Fitness isn’t about being better than someone else, it’s about being the best you can be.”
