Meet Lambton’s More Than a Number, Tim!

Status
Working part-time for Big Apachee and studying music.

Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
I played rugby and soccer, but never went to the gym for fear of judgement.

Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
I had osteoarthritis in my neck and I felt like life was getting hard and painful so my goal was to improve my quality of life.

Have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
Yes and now I’m taking it to the next level.

What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
Absolutely, I thought that it was all about muscle heads, but since joining Planet Fitness it feels more like family with no judgement.

What are your fitness goals for the future?
To stay fit and feeling good, not just in my body but my heart and soul, because it’s how this gym makes me feel.

Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
Having the determination to turn up every day and incur the pain in my neck.

Do you have any sources of inspiration, what are they?
The people who I have met at Planet that have difficult challenges. If they can do good for themselves, why can’t I?

What advice do you have for those who are thinking of joining Planet Fitness?
Keep going no matter what. Some days are like diamonds and some days are like stones. It may seem hard but it is worth it.

What is your weekly fitness regime?
I like to come to Planet Fitness at least 5 times a week and I just do whatever makes me feel good.
